The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will go on sale in the United States in September of 2019. The unveiling of the vehicle took place in April of 2019 at the Mitsubishi research and development center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This redesign includes a new front end, a new rear, new wheels, and new interior materials.
“Design will be a key strategic thing moving forward for Mitsubishi Motors,” said Nate Berg, Director of Product Planning for Mitsubishi Motors North America. “We will continue to focus on refining our design.”
The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a peak into the future of what Mitsubishi has to offer. This crossover SUV has upgraded style, including a flatter hood that doesn’t angle down, adding a sharper and bolder appearance in the front. The grille of the vehicle is a wider version of Mitsubishi’s classic “dynamic shield” grille, while the headlights are standard LEDs. The fog lights and turn signals are separated from the headlights on this model, making the vehicle look tougher and more modern. The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander also has newly designed 18-inch wheels. The taillights of the vehicle are LED, while the rear bumper has extra plastic cladding and faux vents to add a rugged design element to the vehicle.
